According to the New Testment it stands out as a model for the rest .
What better describes a model church ?
This was a question thats was asked among some individuals in a gathering .
Some answered the church in Corinth that honor. Others said the infant church in Jerusalem , described in ( Acts 2:42 – 47 ).
According to Apostle Paul , church in Thessalonian was the model church ( 1 Thessalonians 1:7 was characterized by “faithful work ” & Thessalonians 1:8 ) .
According to Apostle Paul , church of Thessalonica , were a model church because they served the LORD faithfully , loved each other deeply and expectanly longed to see the LORD AT HIS SECOND COMING. Their 100 percent commitment to GOD is notice and talked about ( Acts 17:6 ) .
Paul said ” believers in JESUS , should often evaluate their own faith , love and hope these virtues are eternal ” . These three will last forever.
- Faith
- Hope
- Love
Love is the greatest of all.
Question is what are you modeling to others ?

Apostle Paul stated they were the perfect model , for remembering without ceasing your work of faith , and labor of love and patience of hope in Our LORD JESUS CHRIST , in sight of GOD and OUR FATHER knowing brethren beloved your election OF GOD . ( 1 Thessalonians 1:7 ” faithful work ” ) .
Beareth all things , believeth all things , hopeth all things , endureth all things (1 Corinthians 13 :7 ).
And non abideth faith , hope , charity , these three : but greatest of these is Charity ( 1 Corinthians 13:13 ) .
So with all this powerful information that can be used to educate us. How will you use it ?
And of the angles he saith , who maketh his angels spirits , and his minister a flame of fire ( Hebrews 1:7 ).
So what I have gathered was to stand in tribulations , commitment , love , faith, and charity . What is expected of me.
