My name is Marquita Gee, I am the author and founder of express-ur-self.org. I used to be a concubine a secondary woman, meaning i was intimate with some other woman husband. I was married also! My husband at that time was in federal prison and I felt that, if I messed with another’s woman husband! The man would not get attached to me. My thought process was to just be with that man until my husband got out of jail, that was the plan. Some how it did not turn out that way.

I kept that woman’s husband for myself! This man helped me through school this man put me into the hair game. This man sent money to my husband at that time. This man help my family if they needed help. Being the woman I am, I also helped him and his family as well! If he needed anything I would help where I was asked!

One day I was reading the Bible and this scripture was there. When i realized i was a concubine it really made me cry! It made me feel less than the woman God created me to be! It’s like He woke me up! Saying daughter i did not create you to be second.

In the beginning of Genesis God put Adam into a deep sleep and removed ONE rib to create ONE woman! Not two! Just ONE! God made Eve just for Adam, not Eve, Shelly, and Megan. He made Eve just for Adam so he could have a mate especially made for him.

To learn from God through the Bible that I was an concubine was a real eye opener.

Psalms 32:8-9 KJV I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.

To have a husband and another woman’s husband for my own needs. Not worried about the other woman feelings, was real heartless if me.

I knew nothing about marriage all I knew that I was married and I loved that man I was married to and I fell in love with another woman’s husband.

That was all wrong! God will never send you someone else’s husband or wife! It’s all about being selfish and getting what you want and that is NOT the proper way of life.
