” Laid In A Manger “

Jesus birth after Adam and Eve’s sin in the Garden of Eden ( Genesis 3:15).  Sin was now created a rift in mankind’s relationship with GOD ( by the serpent a snake) Satan successfully brought a curse upon Adam and Eve and all of their offspring.

GOD SAID to the serpent  And I will put enmity Between thee  and the woman, And between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, And thou shall bruise his heel” (Genesis 3:15 KJV ).

GOD  promised that from the seed of the woman would come One who would bring about man’s deliverance and Satan’s destruction. That “seed” was our LORD JESUS  CHRIST.  ( Genesis 3:16 KJV ).

We needed a savior who sacrificed HIMSELF as a payment for OUR SINS of those who believe in JESUS CHRIST to the end.

When JESUS mother MARY was pregnant with him, Mary was forced to travel to a town of Bethlehem with her husband Joseph, so their family could be counted in a census of the entire Roman territory  ( Luke 2:4-7)

  • Forced to travel while pregnant

Scripture Luke ( 2:7-11  KJV ).

This fulfilled the prophecy saying the Messiah would be born in that city.

Sometime after Mary arrived she gave birth to JESUS, and Mary ; JESUS mother wrapped him swaddling clothes, and  laid him in a manger; because there was no place for them in the inn.

  • Laid JESUS in a manger wrapped with swaddling clothes

And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.

And, lo, the angel of the LORD came upon them, and the glory of the LORD shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, i bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a SAVIOR, which is CHRIST the LORD.

  • SAVIOR was born CHRIST the LORD

According to scriptures  above JESUS was born to save mankind, his mother laid him in a manger which animals were kept in. JESUS wasn’t born in a huge house or luxury hospital, my greatness if Mary JESUS mother felt safe to lay him down in a manger.

What makes us think we can not be low at time in our lives. What makes us so better than our creator? What makes us think life should not have trails and experience highs and lows? What give us the right to complain about what should be.  Birth of JESUS is so mind blowing,  what if JESUS had not been born: my LORD where would we be?

Word Of The Day:

MANGER “Stable and manger in our modern sense were in ancient times unknown in the East. The word here properly denotes the ledge or projection in “the end of the room used as a stall on which the hay or other food of the animals of travelers was placed.”

I need JESUS to be my sun in the morning, the  rain in the dessert,  and give strength to move the ocean.
