The strength of a woman comes from God; God teaches us how to move throughout this atmosphere. In Proverbs 31:10-12 says Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do good and not evil all the days of her life.
In scripture there were several women rather they were good women or bad women in a sense. Each one of these women used their strengths in a different form.
Strength of Mary Magdalene delivered from a life of demonic oppression, and whoredoms. They caught her in the very act of committing adultery, but there was a man savior “Jesus Christ ” who asked a crowd of pagans a question, “he has not sinned cast the first stone”? Immediately no one could cast a store, considering they all have sinned.
Mary Magdalene became one of the most powerful women in the bible, she walked with the twelve disciples she received one on one instructions from ( JESUS: Rabbi, YHWH, Yahweh ) Mary witnesses many miracles including hers, she also witnesses ( Jesus Christ ) death and the resurrection of our Savior ” Jesus Christ “.
Naomi, Ruth & Oprah ( Book of Ruth )
Ruth and Naomi and Oprah all of the women husbands died so they were considered widows, however, these two women stuck together. Each had the option to go back to their original homes. Naomi was the mother in law of the two women: however, Ruth seen something in Naomi and followed her to the country of Moab where they met a righteous man by the name of Boaz. Who was upright and obedient in the eyes of the Lord, Boaz took Ruth to eventually be his wife and they conceived a son called Obed.
“ When you have a mother-in-law who first tells you to return home is a sign of strength, also when she discovers you love her. She directs you in the righteous path to seek another man who is upright and righteous. What a power couple to stand together in unity for the benefit of each other. Wow!! A strength of a woman.
The strength of a woman can be utilized in a good or bad way, we as women must understand with our mindset we can uplift one another other, we can uplift our husbands, and also the individuals around us. Or we can tear them down with our strengths make individuals feel unworthy of themselves and if we don’t watch it we can also become worn down ourselves.
Tamar & Judah ( Genesis 38 ).
Tamar in the book Genesis, Tamar was first married to Er Judah’s eldest son and due to his wickedness God killed him, then Tamar became a widow. Judah asked his second son to marry Tamar so their offspring could live on and the second son did. In doing so Onan the second son spilled on the floor “wow!!”, so eventually Lord God killed him as well.
So at this point, Tamar felt some type of way the Judah told Tamar that when his youngest son comes of age she could have him, but instead that was untrue. So Tamar used her swift ways to catch what she wanted! Children at any cost she did: so Tamar set-up a trap for Judah along a path that Judah he had to travel. Tamar disguised herself as a prostitute with a veil over her face, then Tamar asked for a gift in return. Judah had first offered her a goat, then Tamar asked for something guaranteed until she receives the goat. So Judah gave Tamar a signet ( a ring ) and staff ( power like a stick ) in exchange for her goods. Judah laid with Tamar and she became pregnant ( remember “ Judah was unaware that this was Tamar his daughter in law”.
Tamar used her body and her devious act to get what she wanted no matter the cost she was unable to conceive from Judah first two sons. So Tamar used the father instead. The strength of a woman to use her body for her own selfish gain and to get paid in the process. That sounds like our society today.
